Chapter 1: The Death of “Search” and the Birth of “Answers”

To understand GEO, you have to understand why SEO is changing.

From Retrieval to Synthesis

Traditional Google Search is a Retrieval Engine. It goes to the library, finds books that match your keywords, and puts them on a table for you to read.
